VENETIAN DREAMS
Venetian Dreams was born from Marisa Convento’s passion for glass, particularly Venetian beads—an ancient Venetian craft that she practices as an Impiraressa, or bead stringer. Starting as a pastime, Marisa collected and studied glass beads, uncovering their history and venturing into creating jewelry, decorations, and embroidery. After years of dedication, in 2007 she opened her artisan workshop in Venice, a small space that became a meeting point for people from around the world, where unique pieces were born and nurtured. Despite changes and the workshop’s closure in 2019, Marisa continues her passion for bead stringing, facing new challenges and carrying forward the dream of creating something beautiful and unique every day with Murano glass beads.
