Projects must be aimed at medium-high levels of technological maturity, capable of positioning themselves in the transition from industrial research to market-oriented innovation. Research activities can be enhanced through the involvement of Research Organizations, whether public or private, according to the modalities and constraints specified in the call.<br \/>Projects must be consistent with the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3) of the involved Regions and aligned with the themes proposed by the relevant Spoke.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is the call addressed to?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To companies strongly interested in introducing significant innovations related to products, processes, or services, as follows:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MSMEs competing individually or collaboratively with other companies<\/li>\n<li>Large Enterprises, individually or collaboratively, provided that collaboration with at least one MSME is maintained<br \/>Each company within the partnership can cover up to 70% of the total eligible project cost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Regarding Spoke 5, projects, with a minimum value of \u20ac100,000 and a maximum of \u20ac300,000, for a total funding allocation of approximately \u20ac1,650,000, can include various innovative contents:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New and emerging user-centered technologies for manufacturing and other industrial work environments<\/li>\n<li>Digital Twin in Industry 5.0<\/li>\n<li>People, Organizations, and processes of Industry 5.0<\/li>\n<li>Personalized assistive technologies and smart living environments for inclusion in public and private spaces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What are the eligible expenses?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Personnel costs specifically allocated to carrying out the project, according to the Standard Costs defined based on the profile of the engaged resource;<\/li>\n<li>Indirect costs \u2013 determined as a flat rate and equal to 15% of the eligible direct personnel costs (point a);<\/li>\n<li>Administrative costs, covering only the costs of external auditors\/reviewers carried out by independent and specialized personnel registered in the official register of legal auditors, certifying the expenses incurred and reports, in compliance with community regulations and existing auditing procedures, through a technical report together with a sworn statement and explicit declaration of responsibility. These costs will be reimbursed based on actual costs and cannot exceed 10% of personnel costs (point a);<\/li>\n<li>Costs for specialist consultancy services, provided they are essential for project implementation or contractual external research expenses assigned to Research Organizations not affiliated with the iNEST project. These services must be used exclusively for the research and\/or development activities of the project and not for project support activities (e.g., management, reporting, others), and are eligible up to a maximum of 35% of the total eligible costs for each partner.
