Smart&Start Italia<\/strong> is a cutting-edge initiative in the landscape of incentives for innovative entrepreneurship in Italy. Established by ministerial decree in September 2014, this program aims to stimulate the creation and growth of innovative startups across the country, promoting technology transfer and the economic valorization of scientific research.<\/p>\n Recently, the program received a funding boost from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR)<\/strong>, with an allocation of \u20ac10 million exclusively dedicated to female-led startups<\/strong>, underscoring the commitment to gender equality in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.<\/p>\n Smart&Start Italia targets innovative startups<\/strong> registered in the dedicated section of the Companies Register, established no more than 60 months ago, and classified as small enterprises. The initiative also accepts applications from individuals intending to set up an innovative startup<\/strong>, with the obligation to formalize the company within 30 days of approval for the incentives.
