Veneto Region DGR 497/2021: LET’S TRAIN FOR THE FUTURE – New Skills for a Changing Workforce
Initiative Objective
This initiative offers free training and consulting services to companies, while also supporting business development through non-repayable grants. Funding is aimed at both enhancing corporate skills and acquiring new equipment. Project proposals may be submitted under two specific lines, described below:
Line 1: Ready-to-Launch Projects and Skills Development
Line 1 projects focus on the immediate development of workers’ skills. These short-term interventions are designed to provide specific competencies, supporting professional growth within companies.
Line 2: Training for Strategic, Organizational, and Technological Innovation
Line 2 is centered on providing employees with advanced training paths that foster strategic, organizational, and technological innovation in businesses. Complementary activities may include:
- Research scholarships
- Action research
- ERDF-eligible expenses (European Structural Funds)
Target Audience
The initiative is open to workers from companies operating in any sector (except those explicitly excluded) within the Veneto Region, who hold employment contracts compliant with current regulations. Eligible participants include:
- Employees working in companies
- Business owners and their collaborators
- Freelancers and self-employed professionals
Excluded Sectors
Individuals operating in the following areas are not eligible:
- Healthcare and social care sectors
- Companies registered under Section A of the ATECO classification (economic activity codes)
- Training organizations (whether accredited or not)
- Public and private entities such as municipalities, public bodies, trade and business associations, and employers’ organizations
To ensure maximum impact and focus, each company may participate in only one project, regardless of the line selected or the submission window.
