AGCI – ASSOCIAZIONE GENERALE COOPERATIVE ITALIANE

AGCI, headquartered in Rome, is an organization with a presence throughout Italy, comprising 20 regional offices, 6 provincial offices, 3 interprovincial offices, and 2 provincial delegations. Aligned with the principles of the International Cooperative Alliance, the Association promotes the spread and development of the cooperative movement in the interest of democracy and the national economy.

Through its 7 sectors — including AGCI Ambiente, AGCI Agrital, AGCI Credit and Finance, AGCI Culturalia, AGCI Production and Labor, AGCI Services, and AGCI Social Enterprises — it supports member cooperatives in institutional representation and business development.

AGCI manages activities related to information, coordination, training, and the promotion of cooperative awareness, operating also at the international level within organizations such as Cecop and Cogeca to influence economic and social policies.

Committed to creating a system of synergistic enterprises, the Association positions itself as an autonomous productive entity, free from political influence, aiming to enhance work and civic engagement.
