CONSORZIO PROMOVETRO

The Consorzio Promovetro di Murano, founded in 1985, has become a reference in the glass sector, representing more than 30 artisan and industrial companies from Murano. Its members include Confartigianato Venezia and Confindustria Veneto Est. Promovetro stands out for its participation in the main national and international fairs, the organization of trade missions, Exhibitions and events, and the conclusion of business agreements to support consortia. The Consortium is committed to promoting and protecting the image and quality of the artistic glass of Murano, taking care of the correct marketing and the defense of traditional processing techniques. Since 2001, Promovetro manages the “Vetro Artistico® Murano” brand, guaranteeing the authenticity of products made according to Murano techniques. The Consortium also organises cultural tours and offers support for the restoration of glass, collecting solutions for the replacement and refurbishment of damaged elements.
