Mario Carlin, a Venetian artist born in 1977 and based in Mira, explores the human figure through a sculptural language that fuses material and soul. His art, rooted in the tradition of wrought iron, reflects the contradictions of the human condition—from beauty to arrogance, from physiological perfection to madness. His sculptures, crafted from iron, steel, lead, and glass, give life to human forms that resemble a fantastical bestiary, suspended between the microcosm of individuality and the macrocosm that surrounds us.
