PRESENTATION
Call for grants to support film production in Veneto aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of Veneto-based companies operating in the film and audiovisual sector; enhancing the technical and artistic skills of Veneto’s audiovisual professionals; promoting awareness of the region’s artistic heritage, landscape, and typical local productions.
CALL DETAILS
Support measures for the production of audiovisual works created wholly or partly in Veneto.
Category A
- Fiction feature films with a minimum duration of 52 minutes, intended for cinematic and/or television distribution (including VoD and SVoD);
- Series (fiction, documentary, docufiction) with a total minimum duration of 90 minutes, intended for cinematic and/or television distribution (including VoD and SVoD);
- Animation: animated feature films and series with a minimum duration of 30 minutes, primarily intended for cinematic distribution, and animated works with a total minimum duration of 30 minutes, primarily intended for television broadcasting (including VoD and SVoD).
Category B
- Doc: documentaries with a minimum duration of 30 minutes;
- Short: fiction, animation, and live-action short films with a maximum duration of 30 minutes;
- XR (Extended Reality): VR (Virtual Reality), AR (Augmented Reality), MR (Mixed Reality).
Eligible beneficiaries:
SMEs in film production registered in the Business Register with ATECO code 59.11.
Financial allocation:
€4,000,000.00 divided as follows:
Category A – €3,600,000.00
Category B – €400,000.00
Eligible expenses:
- Crew, technical staff, and artistic personnel in the audiovisual sector, employed on fixed-term or permanent contracts and residing in Veneto;
- Services provided by professionals and freelancers with VAT numbers in the audiovisual, technical, or artistic sectors, residing in Veneto, as well as audiovisual, technical, or artistic companies with operational headquarters in Veneto;
- External service provision, including equipment rental,l directly related to the production plan by subjects residing or with operational headquarters in Veneto holding a VAT number;
- Rental of theaters and locations exclusively related to the audiovisual project;
- Hospitality expenses for crew and professional figures residing both inside and outside Veneto.
